The Vegan Table

Longtime vegan and animal rights activist, Colleen Patrick-Goudreau has written a gorgeous, easy to follow cookbook centered on gathering with friends and family. It is a book about entertaining, that just happens to be vegan. She presents her ideas in a very eloquent, almost melodious manner-never offending, only provoking further thought. "Preachy" would not be a word used to describe this cookbook. Her recipes do not contain any hard to find "specialty" foods or products as they mostly consist of whole natural foods that can be found in the produce aisle of any grocery store. The pictures are gorgeous and inspiring. I have tried many recipes with rave reviews from my hubby and two PICKY young kids. Colleen has done an awe-inspiring job and we will continue to reap the gastonomic benefits for years to come! Her book is listed in the Organikook store is you wish to purchase one for your own cookbook library.
