I have read many different authors pointing their fingers at factory farming as the cause for E. Coli, Salmonella and other food bourne pathogens, but none quite so detailed or authoritatively stated. This is an interview that Kathy Freston did for the Huffington Post with Dr. Michael Greger. We have let our gluttony for meat cause these pathogens to flourish in a factory farming venues. It may surprise many to realize that is was not spinach itself that caused the outbreak a few years back, but cross-contamination from a factory farm. So check out the link below, and decide for yourself. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/kathy-freston/e-coli-salmonella-and-oth_b_415240.html |
